I love the game "Would you Rather"? Have you heard of it? Basically it's a super fun game, in which you get asked a series of thought-provoking questions. You are faced with two equally undesirable or desirable options. But can only choose one. It's a great way to lighten up about "choices" or "dilemmas". One of the blogs I follow Corallista Makeup Blog recently posted this tag and I thought it would be fun to take part in this Beauty Edition she created. So here we go!
1. Would you rather wear one eye shadow or one lipstick for the rest of your life?
I think I will have to go with the eyeshadow on this one. I usually wear neutral shades anyways, so I wouldn't be missing out a whole lot. I don't wear lipstick a lot unless it's a color stay brand that actually stays! Between eating and drinking throughout the day, I hate having to re-apply it every twenty minutes. LOL! Pain in the you know what..! :P
2. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails! I prefer bright colors on my nails, including my toes. I find I get bored alot faster when I wear darker nail colours.
3. Would you rather go out with messy hair/nice make-up or nice hair/no make-up?
I don't do a lot of styling to my hair as is, I have so much of it and it takes way too long. If I am going out somewhere that requires me to dress up a bit, I usually just straighten it with a flat iron and add a bit of product to make add texture and shine. However, if I'm not going anywhere special, I usually just tie it back or wash, scrunch and go. I feel a lot more confident when I wear makeup. Not so crazy about spending loads of time on my hair. So I guess the Messy hair/nice makeup would be my choice.
4. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
I don't wear wear makeup every single day but I would say on average I do at least 3 days a week. So I can live without nail polish. Not so much my make-up. I don't paint my finger nails very often. However, my toes are almost always painted.
5. Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?
Um... I want to say neither! LOL But since I have to choose one. I will say overdone blush. An obvious makeup line around your face is just horrid and so is over done blush. Hmmm can I go out like this at night time so it's not as noticeable? Hehehe.
6. Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair color?
Bad hair colour. At least I could get it re-dyed and try to fix it. Having a bad hair cut especially if it's a shorter style, will only make it shorter and the wait time for it to grow out would feel like forever!
7. Would you rather have Youtube or Twitter taken away forever?
Youtube. I don't upload videos very often and I'm not on it every day. I spend a lot more time on Twitter. So take my Youtube away!
8. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?
I'd rather give up using makeup brushes. I don't use them very often anyways, usually only for eyeshadow. Ex: Foundation and concealer I have always used my fingers. I find it blends a lot better with that method than using brushes. I couldn't live without mascara.
9. Would you rather never being able to paint yours nails again or never use lip gloss?
I use lip gloss a lot more than I paint my nails. I would rather never paint my nails again.
10. If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I have way too much makeup already. I would definitely go buy a new wardrobe of clothes.
